There’s an anxiety that comes from owning an old home, and so I think a lot of folks get scared off of owning a house like this when they shouldn’t.
Yes, while I’m a first time homeowner, I do have some specialized knowledge when it comes to preservation. I’m an archivist, and archivy is a cousin to historic preservation. However, my DIY skills are subpar at best, so if I can do it, I’ll bet anyone can!
